Tuesday 19th July was the hottest that England has ever experienced. So it was quite fitting that rebels from all over Sussex gathered at East Sussex County Council HQ in Lewes to demand that ESCC stop investing pension funds in fossil fuels and also get serious about tackling the climate emergency.
There were discussions with councillors and an occupation that ended with rebels being man-handled out of the building.
So they returned the next day!
